New year, new educational opportunities with AWIR – bringing you the latest updates and hottest topics in rheumatology. This year, we continue to build upon our educational pillars: Clinical Competence, Cultural Consciousness and Collaborative Care. And we have planned three virtual Summits featuring CME-accredited programs alongside informational presentations from our partners.

The second Virtual Summit includes a 1.5-hour CME/MOC session on lupus, featuring experts Jinoos Yazdany, MD, MPH from UCSF Health Lupus Clinic, and Anita Dhanrajani, MD from the Children's Hospital New Orleans. This session will provide an overview of the latest data, evolving treatment options, and best practices in adult and pediatric lupus, to help you stay abreast of and align your practice with evolving evidence. Plus, the session will address health-related equity, diversity, and inclusion in lupus – as well as practices for optimal transitions of care for pediatric patients – to help HCPs adopt multidisciplinary care and patient-centered models that enable equitable care to all patients. Read more about the CME session below!
