RULES FOR AWIR
MEMBERSHIP
- Membership in the Association includes health care providers whose practices involve the treatment of patients with rheumatic diseases.
- Rheumatology clinicians: Rheumatology specialty health care providers participating in the care of patients with Rheumatic diseases (Adult and Pediatric).
- Non-Rheumatology clinicians: Non-Rheumatology specialty health care providers participating in the care of patients with Rheumatic diseases
Credentials:
- Physicians (MD, MD PhD, DO MBBS), Advanced Providers (Advanced Nurse, ACPAC, AHP, Nurse Consultant, NP, D-NP, Physician Assistant)
- Fellow: Rheumatology Fellows in clinical training to receive credentialing as a Rheumatologist. This is inclusive of early career physicians within 3 years of graduation. Proof of status is required
- Medical Student / Medical Resident: A medical student or resident, enrolled in an accredited training program, with interests in Rheumatology. Proof of status is required
- PhD / PharmD: Credentialed scientists who work in the field of Rheumatology
